Systems Engineer
Redmond, WA

Purpose

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who would like to participate in a dynamic, fast moving and challenging corporate campus environment. This is a great opportunity to take full advantage of your data center engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • HPC clustered environments: setup, support, automation and documentation
  • Systems Center Operations manager 2007: maintaining, configuring and reporting
  • Switch management, VLANs and filtering
  • Windows Server 2008 and Hyper-V
  • Installation of customized software environments
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems as required
  • Setting up deployment systems, automation and configuration

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s Degree (B.A.), five to seven years experience as a hands-on end-to-end enterprise engineer, or a combination of education and experience.
  • MCP certification
  • Applicant should have a strong customer service orientation
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Active Directory administration and backup processes experience
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies: SAN, iSCSI, Fiber Channel
  • Solid networking and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to move and lift hardware that may weigh up to 35 pounds
  • MCSE certification a plus
  • Altiris Deployment Server knowledge a plus

Senior Software Architect and Developer
Redmond, WA

Job Duties:

  • Provide professional consulting services for robotics systems and business application systems.
  • Work with customers to understand business strategies, define user requirements, and develop solution architectures to meet business needs.
  • Design, develop, test and deploy scalable applications and solutions using the latest technologies, including proprietary Microsoft technologies.
  • Lead team of developers working on problem resolution and analysis.
  • Provide quality assurance for sales opportunities and project deliverables.
  • Ensure development and reuse of best practices and intellectual capital.
  • Author technical white papers for publication in industry journals.
  • Report to senior management and customers on status of ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years experience as a senior developer in the IT field.
  • Experience must include at least two years as a software architect or information architect with demonstrated capabilities in at least one of the following areas: enterprise portal systems (MOSS), database design and DBMS planning (Microsoft SQL Server), network topology planning (servers and network applications), Web Service communications models, (WSE & WCF), business process mapping (WF) and/or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Must have experience in the robotic field as a software developer through one of the following activities: mobile application development, driver-level development, or embedded-system application development.
